Radon Testing

Radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in bedrock and comes up to the Earth’s surface. As radon moves up through the ground it can enter your home through cracks, penetrations, and other openings in the floor and foundation walls. Radon is an odorless/tasteless gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer next to smoking. Radon has been found in homes all over the United States and is more prominent in Northern Illinois than other regions of the country. In this service we will coordinate directly with the listing agent or seller to drop off and pick up our monitors that need to be in the home for 48 hours for proper analyzing.
